About our Blogger in Chief

Ken Farbstein
I advise individual patients and their families during health crises.

I've extensively advised the heads of hospitals, addiction treatment centers, medical groups, and health maintenance organizations on ways to improve the quality of care. My contribution enabled a multi-hospital system win the $25,000 first annual Premier Award for Hospital Medication Safety. I've also helped clients win other awards, e.g., for reducing alcohol and substance abuse.

With my help, hundreds of doctors, nurses, and managers have improved their clinical quality in the Network for the Improvement of Addiction Treatment, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Japan’s Tohoku University, the Massachusetts Division of Medical Assistance, and many other organizations.
